The Communal State Enterprise “Multidisciplinary Regional Children’s Hospital” is a comprehensive medical and preventive care institution that provides qualified, specialized, and high-tech medical care to the pediatric population of Karaganda city and the Karaganda region.
Located at: Karaganda city, Shakhterov Avenue, 83.

Currently, the “Multidisciplinary Regional Children’s Hospital” operates a 24-hour inpatient facility with 470 beds in the following specialties:

• General Surgery

• Purulent and Burn Surgery

• Otorhinolaryngology
• Anesthesiology and Resuscitation
• Traumatology
• Neurology

Medical assistance is provided on an emergency and planned basis for children of all ages, including newborns and adolescents up to 18 years old.

The hospital houses the Children’s Surgery Center, which includes departments for emergency and planned surgeries. It features neonatal surgery beds, urology and ophthalmology beds, a purulent-burn department, and departments for neurosurgery, traumatology, otorhinolaryngology, endoscopy, and an operating unit. The center delivers comprehensive surgical care, covering all medical specialties with modern equipment.

The center also serves as a unified facility for children with polytrauma.
In the neurosurgery department of the Children’s Surgery Center, highly specialized surgeries are performed for congenital and acquired CNS pathologies (hydrocephalus, spina bifida, craniosynostosis), pharmacoresistant epilepsy, and spastic cerebral palsy.

In the endoscopy department, modern video equipment enables diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures for abdominal pain, bleeding, and foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract and airways. Children are admitted from all clinics and hospitals, with urgent care and air ambulance services available for emergencies. Experience shows that even young patients may suffer from erosions, ulcers, and other severe conditions.

The hospital also includes a Consultative and Diagnostic Center with a design capacity of 300 visits per shift.
