The history of our hospital is directly linked to the development of the healthcare system in the Karaganda region. The regional hospital was founded in 1948, based on the city’s therapeutic hospital. It was established by the founder and the first head of the hospital in Karaganda.

Initially, the hospital included two therapeutic departments, a neurology department, a clinical laboratory, and a radiology department.

By 1945, the hospital also incorporated the polyclinic of the New City and the polyclinic of the Soviet-party activists. Additionally, new departments were opened: ophthalmology, radiology, pathology, physiotherapy, and electrocardiography departments.
